The A. H. Ismail Interdisciplinary Program
Doctoral Research Travel Award competition provides
funds to assist students in the presentation of their doctoral research
at a national
or international conference. A PDF version of the
nomination form is attached. It is also available online at /funding/announcements.cfm
.
Any student who will participate in a conference during the period
from January 1, 2005, to December 31, 2005, is eligible for nomination.
If more than one student in a single interdisciplinary program
is nominated, the program head should rank order the nominees.
Students who have received the Ismail award in previous years
may compete, but they will receive lower priority for receiving
awards.
Please return the completed nomination form by Friday,
October 29, 2004. Please address to: Fellowship Office, Graduate School,
160 YONG. Questions may be directed to the Fellowships Office at
fellowships@purdue.edu or 42598. Notice of award will be provided
by December 1, 2004.
