Program Description
The Lynn Fellowship is intended to recruit outstanding doctoral-seeking students to interdisciplinary graduate programs at Purdue University . The Lynn Fellowships are to be used as Ph.D. recruitment fellowships. The student recipient must have an admit date of Fall 2005 or Spring 2006.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Lynn Fellowships do not directly apply to the fellowship program.
Selection
Selection of the recipients is conducted by the interdisciplinary program to which the student is associated. At a minimum, the selection process considers the student's academic and scholarly achievements and abilities, based upon admission application materials requested graduate program.
Award
The tenure of the award is one year, and the Graduate School provides:
Stipend*
Tuition scholarships- need to add link to definition & coverage
Medical insurance supplement
Technology fee
*The minimum stipend level is $14,000; however, the academic program determines the actual stipend level. The Academic Program provides:
Three additional years of full support, contingent upon the satisfactory progress of the recipient, as determined by the academic program.
Registration Requirements
Recipients must:
Be admitted to Purdue in a degree-granting program
Maintain a valid e-mail address with the Fellowship Office
Submit an annual Academic Progress Report
Enroll for at least nine credits in the fall & spring sessions
Enroll for at least six credits during the summer session. Fellows who are not registered during the summer session will not receive a stipend in May, June, and July.
