You may also contact your Graduate Program or the Business Office in your Department.

Requirements

Register as a full-time student in a degree-seeking program. Fulfill the responsibilities & requirements as noted in the Offer Letter. Additional information can be found in the Fellowship Manual. Notify the Graduate School of additional appointments.

Benefits

Benefits of the fellowship include:

Stipend
If paid by or through the University, you will be paid on the last working day of the month. Some fellowships receive a Medical Insurance Supplement, which is included in your fellowship payment. (Direct deposit form)

Graduate Tuition Scholarships
Graduate Tuition Scholarships cover a portion of the general service fee and all of the non-resident tuition assessed to the fellowship recipient. Does not cover the Graduate Appointment Fee, the Technology Fee, the Repair and Rehabilitation Fee, the International Student Fee, or the Differential General Service Fee.

Administration of the fellowship
Graduate School fellowships may be administered as fellowships or assistantships at the discretion of the department, school, or college, based on guidelines established for determining award administration.

Medical insurance
If your Fellowship is administered as an Assistantship you will receive Grad Staff Insurance.

You may elect to enroll in fellowship insurance through the University. Obtain a Fellowship Insurance packet from your business office, and then go over to the Student Insurance Office in Room 340 of the Student Health Center (PUSH). To learn more about Fellowship Insurance.

Dental Insurance
Purdue's participation in the Delta Preferred dental plan is coordinated through USI Affinity.  http://www.purdue.edu/hr/Benefits/dental.html. For information on the dental program enrollment process and coverage premiums, visit the website, then call USI Affinity toll-free at 1 (866) PURDUE U. Ask for the Purdue dental plan coordinator.
